Gibson 1969 ES-175D, Sunburst
What a jazzbox! From 1969, this ES-175 is still the quintessential archtop, and with alot of the specs of earlier '60s models. It has a slimmer 1 9/16" nut width but a standard C neck profile which feels comfortable to most players hands. The patent sticker T-Tops are articulate and clear, but which warm up in the neck position. A cool tidbit of this guitar was it was originally purchased at our 48th St. store way back in 2004, great to see it again after more than 20 years apart!
This example is mostly all original, with refret and replaced knobs. The original neck pickup has been put back after a Lindy Fralin was previously installed. Cosmetically it is in excellent shape, with very little wear to the nitro finish besides light checking. Serial #532547, comes with a non original case. Weighs 6.3lbs. Please refer to the provided photos for more detail on the condition of this instrument. As with all of our vintage listings, included is a vintage spec sheet which details any repairs & changes of note.
